Statement of Core Values

GGP Law (GGP) identifies Five Core Values that are at the heart of who we are, what we do and how we perform. GGP aspires to have a workforce that aligns their actions with these Core Values. This results in employees who adhere to high standards of conduct and performance and exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times. GGP commits to recognising and reinforcing these Core Values through its policies, expectations and evaluations. The firm also affirms its commitment to its employees to guide, support and encourage those behaviours that reflect and model these Core Values.

1. We maintain the highest standards of individual and institutional INTEGRITY. Integrity is demonstrated by taking the right action. It is the willingness to do what is right even when no one is looking. It is each person's 'moral compass'. It is a reflection of one's character and demonstrates principles like honesty, fairness, loyalty, openness and self-respect.

2. We strive to provide our clients and colleagues at all times with QUALITY OF SERVICE. We adhere to the highest standards of professional codes of conduct and demonstrate best practices. We respond in a timely and thorough manner to clients and to colleagues. We recognise that although we are one of many law firms, it is by behaving professionally at all times and consistently providing an excellent level of service that we will excel above the others.

3. We always work with EFFICIENCY in everything we do. We aim to provide a cost effective service for our clients whilst at the same time maintaining a sustainable business. We seek to achieve this by controlling cost, eliminating waste, carrying out work for our clients which is both reasonable and proportionate and by utilising the appropriate staffing resources where required.

4. By our actions, behaviour and conduct we try to make GGP a HAPPY PLACE TO WORK both for ourselves and our colleagues. Also, since we spend so much time in work, perhaps it's just as important to ensure that our actions, behaviour and conduct create, a pleasant, peaceful and harmonious place of work. We treat each person with dignity, fairness and respect. We respect the diversity of our colleagues and our clients.

5. A willingness and enthusiasm to DRIVE THE BUSINESS FORWARD. To recognise that it is the responsibility of every member of staff throughout the firm to understand the needs of the business, familiarise themselves with GGP's Business Plan and to do everything in their power to achieve the aims of the firm.
