Starting Fresh in 2025? Receive compassionate support from GGP Law

Statistics show that in early January, following the Christmas period, those who practice Family Law receive a spike in Divorce or separation enquiries. This may be due to several factors and GGP are able to provide guidance and advice where required.

As members of Resolution at GGP Law, we can offer you support during this difficult time, anywhere from the divorce itself, financial settlements, and child arrangements. We understand that this will be a sensitive time for all involved, but our expert team is there to guide you through the process. This includes the No-Fault Divorce process that was introduced under the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act in April 2022. The change in the Law now removes the necessity for separating couples to place blame on the other party or provide the court with a reason as to why the marriage has broken down. Instead, there is now just one ground for a divorce, that being that the marriage has irretrievably broken down.

If you are looking to obtain advice or guidance on these matters, we at GGP Law are happy to assist you. For all enquiries, please contact our Family Law team on 01685 885500, send us an email on [email protected] or visit one of our drop-in sessions for in person guidance on how we can be of help.

Our upcoming Drop in Sessions are:-

Ferndale – 9th January 12noon – 2pm, Arts Factory Ferndale

Aberdare – 30th January 11am-1pm, Cynon Linc
